Baptism
Jesus said, “He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved” (Mark 16:16). Throughout the book of Acts, everyone who came to faith was baptized (Acts 2:36–41; 10:42–48; 16:14–15; 16:30–33; 18:8).
Buried & Raised with Christ
Baptism in the New Testament is full immersion — the Greek word means “to dip.” Paul describes it as being buried with Christ and raised to walk in newness of life (Romans 6:3–4): the old life laid down, the new life raised up. An outward sign of an inward change.

Baptism Doesn’t Save — Jesus Does
A decision to follow Christ comes first. “As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12). Jesus stands at the door and knocks (Revelation 3:20).
If you have received Christ, baptism is how you obey Him and identify with Him publicly. Scripture presents it not as an option, but as a normal part of the Christian life. If you’ve never been baptized — or weren’t sure of your faith when you were — why not take that step soon?
